Congratulations to lab members Morgan Ellis, Ferdous Finklea, and Jennifer Kaczmarek! Morgan won first place for her poster presentation in the Graduate Scholars Symposium. Ferdous won third place for her oral presentation in the Graduate Scholars Symposium. Jennifer won first place for her oral presentation in the Undergraduate Symposium.
Ferdous Finklea was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. The title of her research is “Manufacturing of hiPSC-Derived Cardiomyocytes for Drug Testing and Regenerative Medicine “.
Jennifer Kaczmarek was also awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. The title of her research is “Direct Encapsulation and Differentiation of Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells in Peptide Modified Poly(ethylene) Glycol”.
