Graduate researchers, Nicole Habbit and Mohammadjafar Hashemi, traveled to Orlando to present their work at the 2021 Biomedical Engineering Society annual meeting. Both had the opportunity to learn about exciting advances in the BME field and make networking connections.

Peter wins at annual Boshell Research Day

Lipke Lab undergraduate researcher, Peter Abraham, was awarded second place for his oral presentation, “Transcriptomic analysis to uncover the differential effects of obesity on the consensus molecular subtypes of colorectal cancer” at the 2021 Boshell Research Day!

Grace wins at the Annual Boshell Research Day

Lipke Lab undergraduate researcher, Grace Hester, presented her poster entitled “in vitro 3D Engineered CRC Tissue Model to Mimic Non-obese and Obese Microenvironments” at the 2021 Boshell Research Day. Grace won 4th place out of 36 graduate and undergraduate presentations!

Justin Presents at ACS!

Lipke Lab graduate researcher, Justin Harvell, completed his first oral presentation at the 2021 ACS annual meeting. His talk was entitled “HiPSC encapsulation geometry impacts engineered cardiac tissue homogeneity and functionality”. This talk highlighted data collected by both Justin and Dr. Morgan Ellis.
