Congratulations to Dr. Lipke and PhD Candidate, Yuan Tian, for receiving the LAUNCH Innovation Grant! Their proposal, “Flexible microfluidic platform for rapid production of uniform cell-laden hydrogel microtissues,” was funded to commercialize our tissue microsphere encapsulation system. From Dr. Lipke, “We are very excited to receive this award. Our system for producing tissue microspheres has the potential to advance a wide range of fields, including drug discovery, therapeutic cell production, bioprinting and veterinary and human regenerative medicine.
